2.5 million?!?

tonight while poking around on IMDb i sought to answer a question floating through my noggin... it concerned a certain character in Blade: The Series... namely the chief evil doer of the vampires... at least as presented by the show, Marcus Van Sciver. This fellow bears a rather striking resembelence to Doogie Howser! its creepy. maybe its just me...
anyways... amidst my searching on the series page offered by IMDb, i went ahead and poked around on the message board for said show. mainly out of curiosity. in reply to one posters nervousness for shows finding an audience and being yanked before they can even get started, someone replied...
You won't have to worry about Blade getting cancelled, it drew 2.5 million viewers, which is a 500% increase in ratings for the Spike channel. It's by far the biggest ratings success Spike has ever had. TV industry folks are expecting Blade the show to have a long and happy life.
weeeee. that made my evening! am i easy to please at times, yep!
p.s. there is another post or two thats been stewing in my head. maybe this short bit was the motivation i needed to stop lurking in my f-list and start blathering more often?

we've been dog-sitting (the same dog as last feb. but now we have a girl of our own!) since the middle of last week, and on the first night i finally made use of the live action camera portion of my digital camera. henceforth it had only been incorrectly used by waitresses at Applebee's and a woman at the Houston Zoo. Not only was the video adorable, but the melee has continued at random times throughout the conclusion of the week. i havent laughed so hard in quite some time. to make it even funnier, tula (the larger of the two) has gained a significant piece of weight since we've last seen her!
tonight i finally got around to sticking this inital clip onto YouTube. *edit* i tried to make a cute snazzy youtube box pop up in my entry, but i failed... so i'll instead provide you with a link which i know works, and those who want, feel free to click...
Maya and Tula #1
the fun has continued! tonight as i was writing this entry, maya and tula scrapped about for a time and then engaged in an epic struggle for "King-of-the-Hill", with the "Hill" being me bed.

random thoughts burst forth!
Jul. 15th, 2006 | 08:40 pm
ho hum. previously i had entertained the notion of stating how sometimes when my mind wandered, i would actually begin to to compose entries in my head... initally i thought that i was alone in this endeavour, but the more i thought on it, the more i realized that i couldnt be the only crazy one and that there were pry loads of people who do! i mean not everyone sits down and pumps out an entry, or do they?!
i mean i will draft text in my head and even like revise and edit! the trouble remains transfering these mini-ensembles from the gray matter to actual printed entries. therefore there are pry 3-4 sketched out things that could become something but havent. alas. anyone else do anything similar to this, or am i nutball?

emosauce: Comedy Central announces the return of Futurama in 2008!
i've always been a fan of the show, i mean it was like Groening's chance to make all the jokes that he couldnt in The Simpsons, and get away with it! thats freaking splendid that we will get to see more than just reruns on AdultSwim... not that most of those still arent as priceless as their initial airings, or for the most case new to me, but...
further mixed thanks should be extended towards her, cause as a result of a comment made to her earlier she enlightened me! thats right, thanks to her i can know view my flist with filters and maximize my reading and commenting potential! (smirk/grin) although her recent conquest of all things simolean have been tempting me to reattempt a stint with the game, which is something i pry dont need... but whatevs.
dont you hate it when you misplace something and you know in your heart of hearts that it isnt lost, but for the life of you, you still cant find it? and the knowledge that it will eventually turn up somewhere exceedingly simple gnaws at you, yet doesnt help you get any closer? such was the case with a pair of black pants that i adore! initially i thought perchance the "fashion police" has decided they were worn on one evening too many in recent times and they had been taking to clothing heaven or some such. and then you think youve looked everywhere and still nothing? well, HA HA black pants, you cant hide forever! you were found last night! of course somewhere overly simple, but the brief burst of rememberance which allows you to locate them is extremely satisfying. mouhahahahaha.

i watched "Munich" today and it almost seemed more like "Mehnich" when i thought about it afterwards. perhaps given that I wasnt alive during this international incident bears weight on the observation, im not sure. perhaps spending close to 3 HOURS has something to do with it, i cant be positive. maybe i had just heard too much hype from various sources that it was impossible to live up to grand expectations (although i couldnt be certain, or even state, what those may have been) i guess thats why im not a film critic that makes the big bucks (sad but true)

steve nash and the Phoenix Suns blow an 18 point half-time lead to lose to the Dallas Mavericks, yielding not only game six, but the entire series! hahahaha. can you tell who i was rooting for?
and to think, the game was so one-sided in the first half i almost stopped watching in utter frusteration!
coincidently, the announcers had a plethora (i adore this word) of stats at their fingertips when the game became pretty much decided. i guess this is the first time both teams in the finals are making their inital appearances since like 1977 or something? wow. Detroit also was unable to deal with the kids down in Miami. I have trouble deciding whose losing gives me more pleasure, currently the loss by the Pistons is in the lead.

the stupidity of some people never ceases to amaze me. maybe thing an intelligent person takes for granted must be screamed at the ignorant. perhaps simple logic refuses to visit the extra stupid, and perhaps many of these dumbest of dumb work at your local theatre.
now, when you're deaf, going to see a movie becomes much more of an undertaking. nevermind that your choices and times become severly limited, but even seeing text properly is tough. one option (when done correctly) is Rear Window. basically a small piece of smoked plastic the reflects text at the adjusted mini screen.
today we tried to see "over the hedge." we got the RW device and I adjusted it so I could follow along like everyone else, or so I thought. after the previews finished the movie starts, yet alas, no text accompanies! we had previously had the EXACT same problem. so all three of us march out in defeat.
luckily we DID find the manager, and we did get a free pass with our refunds but for fucks sake. IF you advertise this ONE showing daily of a captioned movie you'd think it would work? ESPECIALLY if someone gets a RW device from you 30 minutes before the start of the fucking thing?! whatever I guess, too bad its an hours drive and gas is a goddamn arm and a leg these days....
on a slightly happier note to end this tale, I have composed this entire post on the trusty sk2 on the drive home! (grins stupidly)

toast and honey
May. 26th, 2006 | 04:17 am
do you ever find yourself up at 4am after drinking more than you should, yet before you go to sleep you make sure to have toast? maybe im silly (in a variety of ways) but i was always told that some toast before sleep would help some of the nasty problems associated with an over-serving? maybe its the whole wheat absorbs the alcohol theory, or maybe its all just an a fat load of bullshit. and maybe i dont help perpetuate that load of dung by adding in butter and honey to the toast. whatever, at least it tastes good.
so at the risk of alienating any and all potential commenters to my diatribes (as a result of inactivity) im unsure of exactly how to proceed... but in the same nature of throwing caution to the wind which has amassed such a majority of my previous endeavours, i shall attempt to contine thusly....
so yah, lets talk about the dog. the dog is wonderful, she has apparenly decided im worth the price of tea in china. (do dogs get updates on this?) although, in the true fashion of a female... be it a dog or the upright version... maya has been involved in the female version of PMS for several weeks now. we did locate a diaper to adorn her with during her period of "spotting" to save the leather couches and other trivial things (such as sheets). but now we have entered what the internet has infomed us of the second stage of the dance. that mainly being the prime time for those dogs left with balls to their bits to decide that there would be nothing better than to have a ride atop the dog i have begun to adore.
enter here one of my unmeaning and harmless slips of good towards the greater cause of niceness which i unknowingly attempt to uphold. so, lets say the girl you've been spending your leisure time with is concluding a 24-hour-ish visit.... and therefore the polite thing to do would be to make sure the cute dog that she has enamored herself with during aforementioned stay accomapnies you both to the car. if for nothing else so that additional pets and sweet nothings may be voiced/given... and now lets pretend that you let the same girl bring laundry to your house to do in conjunction with your "never-quite-full" white and color loads.... so to follow with this act of kindness, woudl it not be fit to help carry out the resulting basket/s to the car when the nice girl needs to get home? it would, thanks for agreeing with me. im nice like that. however, lets pretend that while yopu are placing a basket of freshly cleaned laundry in the car, your darling Maya choses to take the opportunity to ventrue on her leash into the grass along the side of the street to relive herself.
affections are exchanged and its not until you get back into the house that you realize that your dog [in HEAT] has peed right across from the house. now, mind you... you've read up on that good old INTERNET and know this shouldnt happen, otherwise come morning there will be a line of available male dogs ready to conjugate newfound relationships with your dearest, presenting you, the ownere, with a whole boatload of new issue.
maybe i worry too much about nothing. maybe my sister will run over 2 or 3 dogs in that LINE when she goes to work in the morning. maybe ive had to much to drink. all are possibilites.

Why cant I be El Presidente?! I could really use a million pesos ($93,000 bucks). I mean honestly, how many other people besides me have the time and the where-withal to not only KEEP their cups ALL the way home, but then go on that crazy Intra-net thing to see if they won? psssh.
I should demand a list of the any/all winners, damn thing is probably a big hoax. Come on, I've tried at least 5 different "codes". I would be happy with a free burrito, but no. I'm never an instant winner for any of that kind of crap tho; door prizes, raffles, the lottery, you name it and ive probably not won it.

mood:
pleased
so ive actually been busy for a change... while at the same time being a nice change, doesnt allow much extra time for LJ... but the class is almost done (2 more! yaay!). but the primary reason(s) for my absence at this venture are twofold. one being that at long last a member of the opposite sex enjoys my company and so that has been taking up some of my sit-around do nothing time. the second equally exciting reason being that my sis and i finally located and obtained a dog! we've been searching high and low for quite some time, and at long last found what is shaping up to be quite a nice fit for us!
ill toss acouple of photos up for those interested.... and even use a cut to make it more view/connection friendly! we were told that her old name was "maxi," which due to associations with femine hygiene we decided needed to go... i came up with a short list of a couple options, but while trying to decide me and the sis both knew that for 95% of the time the dog would be addressed it would be with cutesy goo-gooy type stuff, so it wasnt VITAL, but it still needed to be done. we had heard/learned that one-syllable names work poorly as it creates confusion for the dog with basic commands (i.e. "sit", "stay", etc) after a day or two of pondering i offered several choices to kristi, and we agreed that "maya" seemed to suit her. anyways, onto the photos!
( maya )
we also were considering lucy, sandy (guess why?!), and chili.... i was going to toss up some photos and see if anyone had suggestions.... its not tooooo late if someone hits me with something soooo incredible that we couldnt switch it still... but the similarity in the "m" sound at the start of the name seemed intelligent, but then again i havent attempted to name that many animals in my day.
she adores companionship and the woman we got her from described her as a "velcro" dog, and it seems to be true so far, but none of us seem to mind too much. she loves to sit in your lap (its where she is as i type this) and im glad that she finally seems to be warming up to me somewhat. i think her stop-off with the person we got her from consisted of primarily female interaction, so therefore she was a tad skitish around me at first.. but it seems to be wanning... nevermind that my mother and other sister were around abit last week.. whatever, she seems to enjoy going out for walks and heaven knows i could use more excercise! ok ok, enjoy yammering!

a belated rant as promised...
Apr. 24th, 2006 | 04:22 pm
mood:
frustrated
ummmm im not dead, ive been busy is all... but as promised, and given some of the silliness ive been forced to endure, ill deliver a rant! maybe it'll be a good read, perhaps not? we all take chances...
so lets just start it out with a big FUCK YOU to BK. no no, not burger king, they havent recently wronged me.. that would be the sign-name for my ASL1 teacher. allow me to elaborate. so, last wednesday as homework, BK tells us to come up with a couple of sentances using time-signs, which we had just started learning in class. not overly difficult, but we have no printer ink, and good 'ol BK is a fucking stickler to have everything type, and by that i mean EVERYTHING. so even a silly 2 sentances which use approximately 2" of page space should still be done this way. not a real problem, im perfectly computer literate and dont mind. however, the printer at my house has no ink, so for other assignments i have discovered how to goto the school library and print there. still no problem, right? well, sort of. so lets say that you sleep later than you mean to, but still get ready fine and start the drive to class. now, a dilema arises. (two roads diverged in a yellow wood?) i can either go and get some fast-food before class, and risk not having time to print my assignment, or i can be a studious little fellow and forego food in favor of getting to the library to get things printed. for whatever reason you want to assign it, i went to the library, and made it to class with said assignment printed and ready to go just in the nick of time. now, heres where BK begins to earn his FUCK YOU and my stomach starts to swear revenge on me. normally, BK would collect all the papers and one-by-one students would go up to attempt to sign the sentances. he's done similar things with other topics, and before i didnt realize others would be doing the signing so i used words that I knew but hadnt been shown yet, knowing that i would be able to fingerspell any unknowns. not the way he did it tho, he picked sentances he knew others could do and had them do it. so back to today, ive purposely chosen sentances im certain anyone can do. but wait, this is where it gets good, the whole class HE DOES NOT EVEN MENTION NOR COLLECT NOR USE the assignment! my stomach know begins to mock me with laughter disguised as hunger and tell me im getting my just deserves. the kicker is that the homework for this week includes creating a sentance or two with material we began today. will i do it? probably. will i secretly wish bad things upon him? probably.
more later. i just wanted to get that off my chest! i had an interesting drive through experience at Wendys ill complain about and also i think i remember what i wanted to bitch about at the beginiing of the month.

ok ok, so im a lazy lazy bastard sometimes... but at least i generally have good intentions. i just need to beef-up on the follow through somewhat. i fully intended to do a short review of the AZ journies and times, but somewhere got busy with something and then next thing i know its been half a week.
also, i was attempting to go through a week of back-log on the "friends" list with a general sense of success, but at the same time know that in doing so i a)didnt get all the way back to where i left and b)probably missed posts from people! i apologize and will make an effort to do LOADS better and comment on your stuff that you will actually ask me to SHUT THE FUCK UP. well, maybe. could be another intro to the nasty cycle mentioned above. only time will tell.
anyways, as promised, here is a cut to see some of the pictures from the trip i picked out... probably will be of the cousins baby girl, cause she is so cute and such! *WARNING* users on slower connections are forewarned.
( awwwwwww... )
i thought up a good ranty post that perhaps i will spew once the dinner and NCAA title game are over, perhaps aided by my good friend beer. we shall see. once again, please refer to my opening remarks.

i'm back
Mar. 29th, 2006 | 05:09 pm
this'll be quick... im back from AZ and the cousin is happily married and such. i realized on the way to the airport i had forgotten to say anything about the absence, alas. there was plenty of sun and even more alcohol. pictures coming soon, im just being lazy at the moment. well, that and today i picked up the first season of Robot Chicken and a guys got to have his priorities, you know? anywho... back later with more!
p.s. found this icon of one of my FAVORITE spoofs that has graced the wonderfulness of FamilyGuy. the fact that someone else obviously agrees makes me grin like an idiot. it loses a litte without the sound of the original "do-dooah-dah-doo-do-dooah-dah-doo" but if you've seen the commercials, that probably already playing in your head anyways!

march is magnificent!
Mar. 19th, 2006 | 09:09 pm
march is such a fun month, hey? and i dont even say that because my birthday falls in it. (thats january for anyone curious) flowers are blooming, pollen is gently floating into many a nostril to cause unneeded nasal problems, and we get one of the best tournaments at the collegiate level! for several weeks, even spilling over into april, 65 college basketball teams put their skills to the test in what has creatively been dubbed March Madness! ultimately one team is crowned the king of the ncaa, at least until next year at this time when the entire process starts over again. those first couple of days offer the faithful viewer a virtual plethora of gaming intensity and action.. with upsets always possible and year long aspirations and dreams vanquished in the mere blink of an eye or the fateful tick of the clock.
id even venture so far as to say that this whole process is even more entertaining than sports at the professional level. i mean there you have athletes making millions of dollars a year to do their JOB. whereas here kids are pouring their all into competition while still balancing the demands of academia! something about that makes it shine all the more in my eyes. i was originally planning on oozing over the wonderfulness of this whole ordeal when the first round began, but a combination of laziness and watching tv in bed (you can guess where that goes more often than not) has postponed any tellings several days. anywho, better late then never!
in related news..
**spring break has drawn to a close just as swiftly as it began. relatives from Eugene, OR paid a visit for several days. as my father was out of town for buisness i spent several days at the parents place so mom wouldnt have to entertain solo (plus the free meal ticket is incentive on its own).
**i got a haircut! fun times! the logic here was that this coming week we're flying to Tucson, AZ for my cousins wedding and i may as well look sharp, eh? we will be missing two sessions of class, which although im not thrilled over, im sure it will work out...
**while out with my mother (she had dropped the relatives at the airport), she needed to hit up the local Hallmark for who the fuck knows. but while wandering aimlessly i came across something for my sister (and roomate)
monkeythis [as the username implies, she has a fondness for primates]
cmon man, he's HOLDING another monkey, how cute is that shit?

well well well... so, im still here and such, (if anyone was curious) even if i havent been updating as often as perhaps i should/could. but its not like i havent been reading my Friends Page in my absence of posting. cause i have, like daily! sometimes even more than daily, and i have been not only following but contributing to several communities! for some reason in my mind, i dont know whether this is another newness to the whole LJ concept or what, but my thinking has been that i should have something "important" to say... like a mini-revelation that would draw people in to think, "ooooo wow" or something. but im coming to realize that this doesnt perhaps work that way so much.
in contrast, ive already grown to abhor the short sentance long posts. this however does present a problem, because if i were to recount my daily play-by-plays, well theyre not too awful exciting. not that i couldnt write them, i just doubt people would want to READ them, so i convince myself i dont need to. ill work on changing that. alot of this came to a head of sorts when someone from one of the AddMeOver25 groups or whatever decided to cut me as a friend! *gasp* the heartache. especially because i was not only reading her most all of her postings, but i was commenting on a majority of them as well! anyways, the snide retorts that brewed in my mind will stay there, forever locked away... but the high school-ish in-crowd mentality that the whole line of thinking made apparent was somewhat initially unsettling. as with most things, i realized it (and me) were both being a tad foolish. i even went so far as to comment (said person is of the FRIENDS ONLY mentality so at the time i was axed there was not even a clear way to ask WTF? but i tried, and her response cited both my lack of updates AND apparently not trying to get to know her better?!) WTF? this isnt like MySpace where once can even send intra-site messages back and for with the exception of comments... bah, it shall just be chalked up to experience.
sleep is calling, ill spout more rubbish for people to read tommorrow. its that happy wear green or stranger pinch you day!

firstly... lets get something straight. from the get go, i let on i was a sarcastic bastard... in some ways you can see this also could easily mean that i could be quite an asshole when i so see fit to be. the question merely arises when those times occur and for what reasons. overall, im quite pleased with the results my dabbling in several of the various #add_insert_whatnot_here groups have yielded. i hope it begins the start of what will be lengthy and mutually beneficial interactions with everyone who has stumbled across pieces of my yammering, wherever that may have been. however, inadvertently coming across
addme25_and_up was a definate mixed blessing at best. when i added the community i was eager to potentially bump into people more in my "age-group." unbeknownst to me, LJ simulatenous decided to put their own "link" to the same community on the main page of the site. you can imagine, or perhaps even know if you're a member, the pandemonium and onslaught of posts to that group that is currently occuring. it was making my friends page almost unreadable. therefore, for the time being, all those groups have since been removed. at least i know when times get tough, they will more than likely still be there. unfortunately, this trimming of the fat will also include a user. alas, at the risk of appearing hypocritical (wont be the first time, and im sure not the last),
darkreaperomega will also be joining in this "trimming of the fat." honestly, your posts are often either pointless, polls, or a gripe about how the latest smut youre making knucle babies to has video game reviews in it and its getting in your way. that kind of idiocry sealed the deal for me. i like video game, i play video games, and if they want to toss in some well worded reviews of current games betwixt the tits and ass, then by god, after ive finished choking the one-eyed bandit, then im grateful for the heads-up.
next, in a completely unrelated tangent... when returning that splendid movie i carried on so much about in my last post, i discovered that the local market carries the brand of deoderant i like oh so much, Tom's of Maine! . what can i say, ive got sensitive pits, and alot of the more common shit tears the hell out of underarms. not cool. good to know that replacements dont need to be hunted down and sought after from Trader Joe's... wherever those may be. definately not in this state, alas. however, the elation of my discovery was to be short lived when i returned home and was squaring away some odds and ends in the kitchen when what do i spy out of the corner of my eye? thats right, another fucking roach. at least its been quite awhile since the last visit from the little bastards. our black and decker sonic whatever-the-fuck they are prove useful, but unfortunately havent erradicated the issue. hell. way to put a damper on my mood. at least the raid-bath i gave the little critter in the driveway took him (her?) out. meh.

wow. i've been meaning to check out that new john cusack flick that made its way to dvd, The Ice Harvest, and it was simply excellent. i found myself laughing at quite a few of the situations created, and there was plenty of dialouge to keep me chuckling. add in a plot that i only half had figured out, and you've found something that youre glad to have seen.
one such scene, where charlie arglist (cusack) and vic (thornton) have the would-be hit man, roy, confined to a footlocker was particularly amusing....
R: is that you, arglist?
A: hi, roy.
R: when i get out of here, i'm gonna kill you. you do know that right?
V: roy, you must be one fucking optimist if you think youre ever getting out of that trunk.
R: let me out, arglist. i'm your only hope.
A: actually, you just told me you'd kill me if you got out, roy.
silence
R: i didnt mean it.
A: sounded like you did.
R: i was just pissed off. it's cramped in here and im claustrophobic.
it continues in such a manner for a majority of the film, and the plot was decent enough that although i thought i knew where it was headed, it went another way... definately worth it.
lets see. i also saw Walk the Line over the weekend (when i was hoping for "Harvest"). although Phoenix and Witherspoon both did well with the roles, the film kind of didnt do too much for me. musically, cash was incredible, im not denying that in any way shape or form. im just offering that the film wasnt particularly engaging to me, the plot didnt really have anything that kept you wondering. although Ms Witherspoon did fetch an oscar, so yah. shows what i know. anyways, a mcgut rental for a mere $1 so divide that by the 3 people that watched and for 33 cents, meh. i was wondering when it would end by about 3/4 of the way through tho.
in related news, my ASL midterm today went alright. im not expecting 100% or anything, there were things i knew i didnt get correct. however, i feel like none of the things i didnt get right away were things i perhaps would have had i studied non-stop for 3 days. maybe thats just my brain comforting me, im usually nice on the self like that! oddly tho, the teacher decided NOT to have class on wed (no reason offered) which then butts up conviently to spring break. SO no class for like the next 10 days. maybe ill spend that time actively trying to find things out about the Sorenson VRS that ive been meaning to. not that i have anyone to use it with, but maybe my inquiries into it either here or elsewhere will turn up some people. or maybe if when i have it and can speak on its wonderfulness to others in my class i can convince them to get one also. thereby creating people to use it with to get practice outside of the classroom, which i sorely need. but, we shall worry about that another day, shalnt we?

craigslist strikes again!

geeky
the wonderful and useful tool known as Craigslist has already successfully provieded my sister and i with a "like-new" entertainment center as well as a leather couch and accompanying loveseat still encased in the factory plastic. Not that i have buckets of extra cash to be shelling out these days, but sometimes when bored i still roam the days offerings in a decent sampling of categories. as i already stated, on sunday i beat PoP:SoT... and as irony is often a close follower of anything i do, on monday i discovered a seller who had listed several PS2 games for sale "cheap" in an effort to enlarge his funds for a new xbox 360. i went ahead and sent an email expressing my intrest for several of the games listed, and told him to get back to me and hopefully we could work something out. afterwards, it entered the realm of out-of-sight-out-of-mind in a sense. however, last night around 6 i received a reply stating what the games would go for. the seller and i shot emails back and forth, and it was then determined that i could perhaps make a trip into houston where the sale could be completed. mapquest directions in hand, i was prepared to venture into the bowels of houston to the appointed rendevous! my inital directions were just fine, but around the time when i left the freeway to go into smaller (more poorly lit) streets, this is were confusion resulted! apparently, it isnt the brightest idea to go out around 945 pm places youve never been before. oh well. i had my sk2 and the seller's number, so i knew at some point everything would work out. eventually we DID meet up, thanks to him moreso than me. after several thankyous and a quick inspection of received games, i was again left to find my way home. sounds simple right? just go backwards? wrong. at least i had a full tank of gas at the onset, heh. eventually i got to a freeway and by some shred of luck managed to chose the correct direction which got me back to a number i recognized! at this point a grin spread across my lips over the whole ordeal! i went ahead and refilled the gas to its pre-full levels near our house cause im nice like that.
Games obtained:
Prince of Persia 2: Warrior Within
Prince of Persia 3: The Two Thrones
Xmen Legends
now, the reason i was so excited and in such a seeming rush to go and collect these games was two fold. one being that should i not hurry, with my luck the seller would have a "friend" (or some smilar bullshit) request and get them instead of me.... and two being that the sum total paid for all three games was $35. thats right, $35. which is fucking awesome to think about, as PoP3 came out within the month and is selling for around 50 bucks in stores. nevermind the other two, well that and im a sucker for a good deal! what can you do?
of course, i began playing Xenosaga ep1 on monday before receiving a reply from the seller. so, ive certainly loaded up my video gaming plate for the foreseeable future, but its been too long since i properly geeked out with my ps2. i think it misses me. ill work on fixing that.
in related news, my ASL midterm is next monday. so ill have to pry myself away from my gaming to make sure i am properly prepared. but after that the teacher has already informed us that following the test class will end and then for no apparent reason but that he wants to, there will be no class on wed. which then conviently bumps smack dab into our spring break. so midterm monday then no class for 10 days. sounds like an invitation to game, huh? i think so!

Tonight I conquered Prince of Persia: Sands of Time. It felt good to play all the way through a videogame from start to finish... it also led me to realize it has been far TOO long since the last time i played all the way through anything. although, partially some of the games i had been busing myself with were sports related or fighting games, and those are more difficult to truly reach any valid 100% mark. but, tonight such was not the case. the evil Vizier has been slain and a relatively happy ending has ensued. now, the only question is what should i attempt next? maybe ill finally try to make my way through Xenosaga ep1. at least should i get through that interactive movie of sorts, ep2 is already down to $20. im curious to see if either of the xmen games are any good, i believe they also have fallen to the 20 range. OOO and when i save up some nickels and dimes and possibly hear/see feedback from actual players, i have a keen intrest in Grandia3-which recently hit shelves. but, the longer i wait the cheaper it shall likely get! any suggestions are welcome too, but a)i still dont think ive elevated my readership beyond numbers you can count on the digits of a peace sign, and b)i need to play through some of the stuff ive already accquired before obtaining anything new! but, i can always keep my eye open should i have target titles in mind. harhar!

thats right, happy fucking Birthday a day or two late! but its the thought that counts right? i cant be positive if the drink had anything to do with my issues on friday night, but upon inspection i do also believe that stupid FLICKR was partially responsible. they prefer you to use their blogging features and it just isnt the same, you know? and it doesnt seem to offer the correct filenames i needed. or something. AND NOW i will attempt my first usage of a cut to perhaps offer my faithful readers (err maybe that shouldnt have been plural) and opportunity to see some photographs of our good times at Applebees!
( huzzah! )
